In 2022 the EURADA’s Digitalisation Working Group (Digitalisation WG) is organising 4 workshops that will try to give answer one main challenge: how can regions keep up to date with the necessities of their companies in terms of funding and other type of support programmes?
Regional Development Agencies, Digital Innovation Hubs and Research and Technology Organisations are invited to discuss effective strategies to mobilise and align the different actors at regional level in the definition of the regional funding priorities and other support programmes in the area of digitalisation.
Each workshop covers a different challenge and regional actors will be invited to briefly present their insights and exchanges good practices to inspire other European regions.
The main outcome will be a validated follow-up funding roadmap that other regions could replicate in order to define their support programmes for their regional digital strategy.
1st Digitalisation WG workshop
The first workshop was hosted online on the 31st of March and focused on the identification of problems in defining priorities in regional funds or support instruments.

2nd Digitalisation WG workshop
As a continuation of the first workshop, the Digitalisation WG will host an event in Maribor to present examples of regional best practices for the definition of follow-up funding schemes.
In this workshop we will explore potential solutions to the challenges identified during the first workshop. The regions with good practices will be invited to explain how they have managed to channel this dialogue between the main regional actors, namely between Regional Development Agencies, Digital Innovation Hubs and local companies.
